"The size of this card" so begins this old typographic design "in no way reflects the size of the love I have for you, which is, by the way, obscenely, gingantically genital-wagglingly massive" This love card is humorous, affectionate and deliberately cheeky, making it a striking choice for someone with a spirited sense of humour.
The artwork centres on a large, expressive quote about love, with irregular line breaks and whimsical lettering that give it a light-hearted, contemporary feel. Its simple colour palette and clean layout keep the focus on the text, creating an eye-catching piece with a cheeky tone!

I've been drawing weirdness with pencils and crayons since the days of Tony Hart - only really old people will get this reference. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 (see the 'old' part) with a first-class degree in illustration, I did what every creative does and went straight into minimum-wage retail work. I worked in lots of greeting card shops, and the designs on the cards inspired me to create a humorous and contemporary collection of designs, specifically for people who are tired of seeing capybara, sloths and unicorns, and also for those who are physically sick at the thought of puns.
I live in Nottingham with my partner, Ben, and our three cats, Edna, Ozzy, and Olive. I love eating and not leaving the house. Through grit, talent, and dogged determination, I went from minimum-wage to half the minimum wage in 15 years. I'm hoping my inspirational story might help steer someone from illustration to, I dunno, maybe plumbing?
