Able And Game
Able And Game create greeting cards that reflect people's lives and celebrate the mundane, everyday things people often overlook. Rather than being saccharine or mushy, the cards use humour and real sentiment to convey messages that celebrate the inner dork in all of us. Designed and printed in Melbourne for over 11 years, the statements made on the cards have people nodding and laughing in agreement and the hand-drawn illustrations give the cards an innocent quality.

Back To The Drawing Board Illustration

I work full time as a cafe manager and set up my illustration business during the first lockdown, whilst on furlough from work. It has always been a dream of mine, and I finally had the spare time to just do it! I've been drawing since I can remember, and doodled through all of my school exercise books (later ruined by the teacher's red biro!) I went on to graduate from Portsmouth Uni with a degree in illustration, which is where I really found my drawing style. I absolutely love drawing food, as you can tell from my card designs, so I get a lot of inspiration from where I work. I also enjoy menu design and have been lucky enough to be able to design all of the cafe menus and chalkboards during my time working there. It's great to have a job I can mix my passion with!

At first it only sold diaries, wrapping papers, postcards and photo albums. Since then you can find recipe books, telephone registers in various sizes, a wider choice of diaries and praxinoscopes in its growing repertoire. Due to the fine quality cow leather and the watermarked paper, the range of Bomo Art products has become much more exclusive. We are proud of our hand-drawn unique wrapping paper and card designs. On our greeting cards, postcards and gift tags you can discover a wide range of graphics and drawings. You can choose a romantic motive with flowers or fall in love with balloons or animals patterned cards. There are some cards related to holidays as well in style of the 19th century. The motives featuring old posters, postcards, musical notes recall the halcyon days of the turn of the century. Elliott My Dear
My name is Sarah Millicent Elliott, I am an oil painter living and working in Tasmania where I create work for 'Elliott My Dear' I love favourite childhood places, books, Grimm's fairy tales, gardening, renovating, and being inspired by my three children! Elliott My Dear creates original artwork prints and brooches that are colourful, detailed and a little bit melancholy. My oil paintings have a whimsical poetic feel a bit like illustrations of little moments.
I began illustrating cards (not so seriously) as soon as I could draw. Every year I’d ask my Dad what he wanted for his birthday. It was always the same answer, a handmade card. Despite it being a relatively inexpensive gift, I came to realise the great value in a simple greeting card at a young age. After completing my degree at RMIT University, Communication Design, I returned home to Hobart, Tasmania to take up a studio Residency at the Salamanca Arts Centre. Here, I began working as a freelance Illustrator with the odd hospitality shift to help keep the “dream” alive. Some of my major clients so far have included work for Target, Nab Bank and most recently, Cotton On. After holding a successful Pop Up Shop in July 2015, I decided it was time to start taking the cards more seriously. It is such a cool feeling knowing that through a simple scribble you have the ability to make people smile, or better yet, laugh out loud (aka lol) Eloise Lark Cards are essentially about making people smile. Working with a bit of humour, a bit of cute and a lot of cheek!
