A funny, slightly cheeky Christmas card featuring a hand-drawn design of Santa's sack with bold lettering that reads, "Something rude, yet oddly endearing about Santa's bulging sack." The artwork uses a simple wintery background and whimsical typography to create a cheeky, humorous festive greeting with a light-hearted (yet undeniably school yard) tone.
The illustration has a contemporary, cartoon-style feel, with warm neutral tones for the sack contrasted against strong dark and red lettering. It is ideal for anyone who enjoys irreverent Christmas humour and a festive message with a mischievous twist.
Price includes free postage to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and most of Europe.
I've been drawing weirdness with pencils and crayons since the days of Tony Hart - only really old people will get this reference. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 (see the 'old' part) with a first-class degree in illustration, I did what every creative does and went straight into minimum-wage retail work. I worked in lots of greeting card shops, and the designs on the cards inspired me to create a humorous and contemporary collection of designs, specifically for people who are tired of seeing capybara, sloths and unicorns, and also for those who are physically sick at the thought of puns.
I live in Nottingham with my partner, Ben, and our three cats, Edna, Ozzy, and Olive. I love eating and not leaving the house. Through grit, talent, and dogged determination, I went from minimum-wage to half the minimum wage in 15 years. I'm hoping my inspirational story might help steer someone from illustration to, I dunno, maybe plumbing?
