This sweary Christmas card features a humorous winter scene with two stick figures standing in the snow beneath oversized speech bubbles. One declares, "Well, I wish it could be Christmas every day!!!" while the other responds with a rude, exasperated retort, creating a cheeky contrast of festive sentiment and sarcastic frustration.
The illustration uses a clean, hand-drawn style with a pale blue sky, white snow, and simple black linework, giving it a playful, contemporary feel. Its blunt wording and comic timing make it a bold choice for anyone who enjoys irreverent, laugh-out-loud seasonal humour.
Price includes free postage to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and most of Europe.
I've been drawing weirdness with pencils and crayons since the days of Tony Hart - only really old people will get this reference. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 (see the 'old' part) with a first-class degree in illustration, I did what every creative does and went straight into minimum-wage retail work. I worked in lots of greeting card shops, and the designs on the cards inspired me to create a humorous and contemporary collection of designs, specifically for people who are tired of seeing capybara, sloths and unicorns, and also for those who are physically sick at the thought of puns.
I live in Nottingham with my partner, Ben, and our three cats, Edna, Ozzy, and Olive. I love eating and not leaving the house. Through grit, talent, and dogged determination, I went from minimum-wage to half the minimum wage in 15 years. I'm hoping my inspirational story might help steer someone from illustration to, I dunno, maybe plumbing?
