Wedding anniversaries means getting someone a card, every single year, 'til one of you dies! Well, you can't have a fancy card every year; every so often you've gotta expect a budget one, like this one!
This simple hand-drawn design features a large heart outline and bold handwritten typography. The message reads, "I still love you, innit." Around the top of the heart, smaller curved text reads "budget anniversary sentiments" in a playful, affectionate tone.
The overall look is clean, minimal and expressive, with black linework on a white background creating a modern, sketch-like feel. It works well for a romantic occasion with a light-hearted, affectionate message and a distinctly contemporary handwritten aesthetic.
Price includes free postage to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and most of Europe.
I've been drawing weirdness with pencils and crayons since the days of Tony Hart - only really old people will get this reference. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 (see the 'old' part) with a first-class degree in illustration, I did what every creative does and went straight into minimum-wage retail work. I worked in lots of greeting card shops, and the designs on the cards inspired me to create a humorous and contemporary collection of designs, specifically for people who are tired of seeing capybara, sloths and unicorns, and also for those who are physically sick at the thought of puns.
I live in Nottingham with my partner, Ben, and our three cats, Edna, Ozzy, and Olive. I love eating and not leaving the house. Through grit, talent, and dogged determination, I went from minimum-wage to half the minimum wage in 15 years. I'm hoping my inspirational story might help steer someone from illustration to, I dunno, maybe plumbing?
