Growing up with artist parents I have always been submerged in the art world so I guess it was inevitable that I would follow in their footsteps.
Before discovering my own style my Dad and I would set up canvases next to each other and he would teach me his techniques.
After one Christmas, several years ago, I received a watercolour set… this was the moment Elza Fouche Artist was born. I started experimenting with fashion and portraits and I was hooked! During 7 years in business my style and mediums have varied from Watercolours to Copic Markers and now fully digital. Just like painting layers with watercolour, I draw layer upon layer from light to dark while blending them together to create a realistic look. I use the program Procreate on my iPad and draw with the Apple pencil.
