Hey! Thanks for Always Being There
$4.13 USD
by Odd Noodle
A softly illustrated axolotl sits quietly against a warm cream background, holding a small green sprig as though it paused to consider what might be enough. The message begins simply with "hey." - casual, unceremonious, and familiar. From there, the card expresses sincere appreciation in a direct and understated way: "thanks for always being there for me." Followed by the quiet acknowledgement, "it hasn't gone unnoticed."
The artwork celebrates the people who consistently show up without asking for recognition - the steady presences, dependable supporters, and quietly caring individuals who make life easier simply by being there. Its muted palette, gentle humour, and minimal composition create a feeling that is warm, calm, and sincere without becoming overly sentimental.

I'm Craig, a UK-based graphic designer and illustrator working under the name Odd Noodle. My background in graphic design shapes my approach - clean linework, restrained colour palettes and simple typography.
I focus mainly on character-led illustration, using soft shapes and muted tones to create work that feels calm, considered and offbeat, and there's often a quietly unhinged undercurrent beneath the surface.
