Great Mums Let You Lick the Plate

Great Mums Let You Lick the Plate

by Jo Scott Art

This cheerful illustration pairs bold, hand-lettered typography with a playful painted portrait of a dachshund eagerly licking a plate. The warm orange background and loose brushwork give the design a contemporary, hand-crafted feel while the witty message celebrates the cheeky, affectionate side of motherhood.

Ideal for Mother's Day or any occasion when you want to make your mum smile, the card balances humour and warmth. The casual, lighthearted tone makes it perfect for mums who enjoy a laugh and appreciate a little mischievous charm alongside a sincere sentiment.

Thoughtfully composed and distinctly modern, this design is as suitable for sending to family members as it is for leaving on the kitchen table after a shared meal. The combination of whimsical artwork and clear, friendly lettering ensures the message reads instantly and leaves a memorable impression.
