Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will I know when someone scans a QR code?

    Absolutely - Cardly tracks each individual scan and we'll report back to you when a code is scanned, along with who scanned it. In fact, if it's scanned multiple times we'll tell you that too!

  • Can I use my own QR code?

    You can include your own QR code as part of your artwork, however this will bypass our ability to track your outreach via the Cardly platform. We highly recommend that you use our QR codes as they will be unique per card and linked through to our system. 

    Our QR codes can be any colour and the size and QR code style can be configured too - we're confident that you'll be able to achieve the look you want!

  • Can each QR code go to a different location?

    Yes, you can set a default location for your QR code to go through to or you can leave the QR code as a variable and specify a unique landing page or URL at the user level.

    We've seen businesses supply user-specific URLs to add and additional layer tracking, send people to dedicated landing pages, or embed user discounts directly into the URL.
