Bridget Farmer is an Irish printmaker now living in Australia. She studied jewellery at Edinburgh College of Art from 1999 - 2003 but it wasn't until she arrived in Australia in 2005 that she discovered printmaking. Her themes have always included animals and birds from both her new and her native homes. Her original designs are made by cutting the image into lino, inking it up and making a print from it. Some pieces include multiple layers others utilise the bold simplicity achieved using this technique.
